Taylor Cavanah

Taylor joined Blueprint in 2026 and is an Operating Partner. He works directly with founders and their teams to accelerate ARR production.

Prior to Blueprint, Taylor was the Founder and CEO of PetDesk, a patient engagement platform built for the veterinary industry. Earlier in his career, he spent time at Sony America as part of a think tank focused on forecasting products a decade out. He began his technical career at Zyvex Corporation, where he helped develop the semiconductor application, managed sales, and co-founded a resulting spin-off, Zyvex Instruments, later managing the division as a separate P&L after its acquisition by DCGSystems. Taylor holds a B.A. in Physics from Rice University and an M.S. in Physics from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys speculative fiction, gaming, and the fully immersive experience of dad life - which, he'd argue, has its own parallels to early-stage company building.
